GREAT GRANDBABY

Well, this is an exciting day for me. My first great-grandbaby was born today, September 13. Her name is Margaret Alice Hammer "Maggie" and she weighed in at 9 lbs and 8 oz. Maggie's parents are Lt. Stephen Hammer and Meredith Alexander Hammer. They are living in Fort Benning, GA while Stephen is in training. (Am I the first to become a great-grandparent??) Pat Alexander

Meredith and Stephen enjoyed a honeymoon in S. Palm Beach, Fl before going to spend Christmas with Stephen's family in Carrolton, TX. In January, they will reside in Oxford, England where Stephen will continue his studies at the university. (Meredith is Pat and Thurman Alexander's granddaughter.)

Meredith and Sheridan are the granddaughters of Pat and Thurman Alexander. Sheridan was the flower girl in Meredith's wedding on December 11, 2010 in Richmond, Virginia.
