On August 27, 1960, I married Thurman at Anderson Methodist Church in Perquimans County.Below we celebrated our 50 years at Ruth's Chris in Virginia Beach. We were served a delicious meal and given complimentary dessert by the manager. We chose cheesecake as a compromise. I love chocolate and he loves banana pudding. After dinner we rode to the beach and strolled the boardwalk.
